Showcase your past and present Newfies in our online virtual dog show!
The Newfoundland Club of NSW has not had a show in 2 years, so dust off those photo albums and share your beautiful Newfies from days gone by, show the world your up and coming star or beloved family dog.
We are also honored to have a mystery International specialist judge who will be providing first, second and third place critiques for conformation classes and puppy sweepstakes.
All registered (main and limited) dogs residing in Australia and NZ are welcome to participate.
Entries are only AUD6.00 per dog per class and funds raised from this online show will help run our Newfoundland specialty show in 2021.

Conformation Classes:
Class 1: Puppy Dog (6 months to 12 months)
Class 1a: Puppy Bitch (6 months to 12 months)
Class 2: Juvenile Dog (12 months to 2 years)
Class 2a: Juvenile Bitch (12 months to 2 years)
Class 3: Adult Dog (2 years to 7 years)
Class 3a: Adult Bitch (2 years to 7 years)
Class 4: Veteran Dog (7 years and over)
Class 4a: Veteran Bitch (7 years and over)
The Winner of each Conformation Class will compete for Best in Show and Runner Up Best in Show
Property Classes:
Class 5: Baby Sweepstakes (under 6 months)
Class 6: Best Headed Dog
Class 7: Best Headed Bitch
Class 8: Best Gait
Class 9: Best Coated Brown
Class 10: Best Marked Landseer
Just for Fun:
Class 11: Best Fancy Dress
Class 12: Funniest Sleep Position
Class 13: Best Action Shot
Class 14: Cutest Facial Expression
Awards:
Rosette and Certificate for Best in Show, Runner Up Best in Show
Prize and Certificate for 1st, 2nd and 3rd of each class
Rules and Information
- Open to Newfoundland Dogs only - both living and those that have passed away
- Dogs residing in Australia and New Zealand only
- Entries in Classes 1 - 10 must be registered with a recognised controlling body
- All entries in any section must be owned by the entrant
- Neuters may compete in any class
- Entry fee is AUD 6.00 per dog per class. Payable via Oz Entries
- Dogs allowed to be entered in multiple classes
- The dog’s age in the photos must correspond with the class entered
- Conformation Classes: provide 3 pictures per dog per age (Stack, Gait, Head)
- Property Classes: provide one picture per dog
- Just for Fun: provide one picture per dog
- Pictures will be cropped to only show dog, not handler
- The Newfoundland Club of NSW reserves the right to limit the number of entries in each class
- The judge’s decisions are final. Please keep in mind that this is a “FUN” show
- Prizes and Certificates will be mailed out to the winners
- Entries close: 24th of October 2020
- Announcement of Winners and Online Catalogue: 22nd of November 2020
