Come be a part of our community. An event designed to strengthen bonds among Newfoundland enthusiasts and their beloved dogs. Celebrate this distinctive breed with us and explore activities crafted just for them. It's a chance to unite, share stories, and gain insights from seasoned owners.
Well gather near Jasmine Green Kiosk, which is a dog friendly kiosk so you can grab some breakfast.
There is some tables and chairs under cover, if you get there early enough you might snag one.
Don't forget the sunscreen, doggie water bowl, and a picnic rug.
You can also bring you own gazebo.
Umina Beach is a dog friendly beach, bring along the towels and enjoy a dip with your furbaby!!! Just don't forget to get all the salt water off your dog after the swim.
Whilst it is a dog friendly beach and park you furbaby will still need to be leashed and please clean up after the poos.
We are looking forward to meeting new Newfies and Owners.

BREED SPECIALITY SHOW NOTIFICATION
On behalf of the Committee I am notifying you that the 2020 Show due to be held on the
15th August 2020 at Erskine Park NSW
Breed Speciality Judge Sonia Nicholson
Has been CANCELLED due to the COVID 19 Pandemic.
As Show Secretary I have been in consultation with Dogs NSW and our Judge to determine
if the show could go ahead.
Due to the notification at the time from Dogs NSW that they could not see any shows taking
place and no new notification prior to the 1st August 2020, we felt that this was too short
notice to cancel or conduct the show for those attending or organising.
Our Judge had concerns regarding the Trans-Tasman being open and allowing her to enter
Australia and leave to return to New Zealand without 14 days quarantine.
Financially we felt that we could not ask this of our judge
We also felt that we would have no time to fundraise as we had planned so we did not want
to empty the bank account.

I am also notifying you that the 2021 Show date has been confirmed by Dogs NSW for:
Saturday 14th August 2021
Venue and Judge will remain unchanged.
Sonia as courteously agreed to Judge for us and the Committee feel it is the rightful thing to
do as COVID -19 is hopefully a once in a life time event.
This weekend will and would have been our scheduled weekend hence the reason that we
have been able to secure the date with Dogs NSW.
On behalf of the Committee I would like to thank Dogs NSW, Sonia Nicholson and everyone
who has been working behind the scenes to secure this Show.

It is with great pleasure that The Newfoundland Club of NSW would like to present their Best in Show and Runner up to Best in Show for the 2018 Breed Speciality Show as Judged by Ms Natasha Ryan
On behalf of the committee I would like to thank all those that attended and made the show and presentation a great success.
As the judge said it was great to see such young dogs and her pleasure to award those examples of the breed as she did.
